Corrections policy
Corrections, source updates, and revisions
Disclosure records and government files evolve as new FOIA releases, declassified tranches, and hearing transcripts become available. Our desk maintains an open, transparent policy for logging updates and correcting factual discrepancies.
Correction standards and logging
When an official source is updated, clarified, or expanded by a reporting agency (such as AARO, ODNI, or the Department of War), the corresponding briefing or record page receives an immediate timestamp update. Material corrections—such as changes in sensor calibration dates, location coordinates, or witness clearance levels—are documented with an explicit editorial note at the conclusion of the article.
How to submit a correction request
If you identify an error in transcription, document numbering, or agency attribution on any page across UFO Disclosure Files, please notify our desk at corrections@ufodisclosurefiles.com with:
- The specific URL of the article or record page on this site.
- The precise text or data point in question.
- The authoritative primary source URL or document reference demonstrating the correct information.
Corrections are reviewed by editorial staff within 48 hours, and confirmed revisions are published immediately with full transparency.
